What to Pack When Moving to Milwaukee

If you have called a Milwaukee mover and are packing a big move to Milwaukee, we urge you not to forget these items.

  1. Pack your leather jacket. Milwaukee is home to Harley-Davidson headquarters and museum. Visit and view 450 motorcycles and thousands of artifacts, and exhibits that tell the story of Harley-Davidson from its inception to modern-day. You’ll find unique items at the museum gift shop. Join in with events such as Bike Night every Thursday night at 5pm at Motor Bar and Restaurant at 6th and Canal Street. Have fun checking out everyone’s bikes, and enjoy the food and drink specials.
  2. Pack your camera. You’ll want it at the Lynder Sculpture Garden. There are 50 sculptures on 40 acres of park that includes lakes and woodland areas. You’ll find the sculptures of Henry Moore, Alexander Archipenko, Barbara Hepworth and many more. They have educational programming about the intersection of art and nature giving people of all ages a hands-on experience.
  3. Pack your binoculars. One of the premier aviation festivals in the U.S. is in Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Air and Water Show. Featuring the USAF Thunderbirds and the US Army Golden Knights, you can enjoy these aerial and water acts on the lakefront for free. The water show includes the Badgerland Ski Team, and Racine Extreme Racing. Join the fan club and get access to reserved tickets and lakefront parking.
