Would you Pull a Truck to Fight Hunger?

According to the Arizona Hunger Advisory Council, one in six Arizonans go hungry every day.  In addition, more than 2.6 million Arizonans live below 200 percent of the federal poverty line.

For more than eight years, Beltmann Relocation Group has helped to raise money and collected nearly 100,000 pounds of food to feed the homeless around the country through a relationship with Move For Hunger. Beltmann Relocation Group, Truck Pull - Phoenix, AZ

However, this year, we are pulling in the Phoenix community to help us take our support to another level.

In partnership with the Arizona Relocation Alliance, Beltmann Relocation Group of Phoenix is hosting Arizona’s first ever Truck Pull to benefit the non-profit group Move for Hunger on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at the Uncle Bear’s Brewery, Taproom & Yard, located at 612 E. Germann Rd. in Gilbert Arizona from 2 to 6 pm.

The truck pull will challenge teams between five to ten people to work together to pull a moving truck 100 feet in the fastest time.  The winner will be crowned the inaugural Truck Pull Champion and that could be you!

“In previous years, the employees of Beltmann did most of the heavy lifting to get money and food together to make a difference, which we loved,” says Phoenix General Manager, Steve Rinaldo. “However, the inaugural truck pull contest is a fun way to pull in community support in a fun and engaging way this year and hopefully beyond.”

If you are wondering if you should participate in this family friendly event, the answer is YES!  You don’t need to look like Mr. Olympia or be a CrossFit champion, just gather a team of people who want to work together to make a difference and fight hunger.  So, grab your friends, family or coworkers and help give back to the community while having some fun.  For more information and to register your team online, visit www.aztruckpull.com.

Sponsorship opportunities of all levels are still available.  If you want to get behind (or in front of) this great event, e-mail emily@moveforhunger.org.
