Valentine’s Day 2012: Top 5 Most Creative Date Night Ideas

Once you are finished with your Milwaukee mover, and are all moved in, you will need a date for Valentine’s Day. Maybe you have that special someone, or have to get brave and invite a new friend. Either way, wouldn’t it be great to plan a creative night that your date never expected? Here are five creative date ideas for you:

1. Tell your date to bring their baby book and/or their childhood pictures. Go through each other’s books and ask questions like, “What happened here?” Share your childhood memories with each other. Enjoy the funny and touching stories as you get to know each other more quickly through photos.

2. Make a time capsule. Find a small to medium sized closable container. Both of you should bring items for the time capsule that remind you of the year it is, and of the other person. Be sure to write a note from both of you predicting where you will be in 5-10 years. Find a good place to hide the time capsule, even if one person just keeps it in a closet. Decide who will call another date to open the capsule.

3. Have a progressive date. Order drinks at your favorite bar. Head to another restaurant for appetizers. Do the same for dinner and dessert. You might make reservations at restaurants so you don’t spend much time waiting for tables.

4. Make decisions for the other person. Choose their clothing for the evening. Choose the drink they will have and the dinner they will order. Each choose activities you think the other will like and do both of them.

5. Go to a campground and build a campfire. Take hot dogs, s’mores fixings, and hot drinks. Tell scary stories. If someone plays guitar be sure to bring it and sing campfire songs from your summer camp days.

Being a good date sometimes means taking the other person by surprise. Be creative this Valentine’s Day. Be glad your Milwaukee mover is done moving you in, and treat your date to a night to remember.
