Habitat for Humanity
Beltmann Moving and Storage of Dallas, TX has helped countless thousands of families move into or out of the DFW area. At the same time, as a proud agent for North American Van Lines, we provide transportation for an endless supply of donations to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore resale store. The ReStore sells things like appliances, furnishings, home fixtures and more to help raise funds for the countless thousands of homes Habitat has built since 2002.
The Go North Habitat for Humanity ReStore
At Beltmann of Dallas, we work with Go North Habitat for Humanity and their ReStore resale stores. These stores take donations of gently used furniture, appliances, house fixtures, and more, clean them up, and then sell them. The proceeds are then used to help fund the construction of new homes in the DFW area and across the nation. Our role in helping Go North Habitat for Humanity is in transporting the donations to the Restore stores. We also like to ask our customers for donations as we pack their homes for transportation to their new home. Should you choose to donate, you will get more out of your donation than you realize. It will:
- Help the less fortunate in your community
- Make a great tax-deduction
- Reduce the amount you must pay out in moving costs
Talk to your moving consultant about how we make donating to Go North Habitat for Humanity easy:
- Start by talking to your moving consultant about what you would like to donate.
- Then fill out the Go North Habit Donation Inventory form. Present it to the driver of the moving truck and he will set these items aside.
- Our packers will box the items in separate boxes, take them to the nearest ReStore location and have them send you are tax receipt within 90 days.

The Gary Sinise Foundation
The Gary Sinise Foundation started shortly after the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center by Hollywood superstar Gary Sinise who played Lt. Dan in the movie Forrest Gump. He started the foundation to provide a range of special services for first responders, veterans, and their families.
This includes building homes for severely injured veterans that come with a variety of automated features intended to help them live a more independent life. The R.I.S.E. or Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment program helps to raise funds and Beltmann Moving and Storage provides free moving services for the veterans who are moving into the new home.

Move for Hunger
There are over 17 million children in the U.S. who go to bed every night with empty stomachs. Move for Hunger collects donated non-perishable foods that have been donated for the food pantries in the DFW area. Beltmann Moving and Storage of Dallas and Farmers Branch, TX plays a two-part role in helping this worthy cause. First, we ask each of our customers if they would like to donate their non-perishables instead of paying to ship. Second, we provide free transportation of these goods from collection points and deliver them to the food pantries.
