Habitat for Humanity

As an agent of North American Van Lines, we are proud to support the Habitat for Humanity’s Homebuilder’s Blitz and their ReStore resale outlets. Since 2002 this program has built more than 1,000 homes nationwide, funding the project by selling a variety of items in their Restore resale outlets.

The Go North Habitat for Humanity Restore Program

Here at the Beltmann moving company, we strive to become a respected member of the community by working with Habitat for Humanity ReStores to help keep their resale outlets remain stocked.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore Donation Program is the first of its kind and we encourage you to donate your gently used and unwanted items to your nearest Habitat ReStore. There are several reasons to donate:

• Cut your moving costs by having less for us to transport
• You can use your donations as a tax deduction
• You will be doing something amazing to help the less fortunate in your community

At Beltmann we have made donating to Habitat for Humanity easy:

• Tell your moving consultant you wish to donate
• Fill out our Go North Habitat Donation Inventory Form and we take care of pickup and delivery
• Within 90 days you will receive a charitable contribution email from Habitat for Humanity

The Gary Sinise Foundation

The Gary Sinise Foundation (Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump) was created after the Sept 11, 2001 tragedy to honor our heroes, including veterans, first responders, and their families.

The foundation builds homes with automated features designed to help severely wounded vets. In 2013 the foundation created the R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program. The Beltmann moving company helps by providing moving services for veterans to help them move into their new smart homes.

Move for Hunger

Move for Hunger works with moving companies like the Beltmann moving company to collect and deliver non-perishable foods to help feed the over 17 million children in the U.S. who go hungry every day. We encourage our clients who are moving to donate their non-perishable foods for our crews to pick up and deliver them to the local food pantry.

In 2012, the Beltmann moving company received the “Move For Hunger- North American Van Line Mover of the Year”.

When you choose Beltmann as your moving company, you can help us with the fight to put an end to hunger. Set your non-perishable foods aside and let your Beltmann moving representative know about them when they arrive to pack up your home, they will box these foods and deliver them to a local food pantry.
