Invite friends over for a \u201cFriendsgiving.\u201d<\/b> Maybe you don\u2019t have the money to buy a plane ticket home for the holidays. Heck maybe you just don\u2019t want<\/i> to! Either way, Thanksgiving can still be a meaningful celebration. Pitch in with a few friends and plan a Turkey Day meal. Have each person bring a dish to share or a bottle of wine, and you\u2019re sure to make some holiday memories.<\/p>\n

Volunteer at a local non-profit.<\/b> Charity work has all kinds of great benefits. Obviously, it helps someone in need. But it also gives us a more fulfilled sense of ourselves, and tends to fight depression as well. Don\u2019t know where to start?
