Permits & Storage
For those that won’t be docking on their own lake, or don’t want to put the boat in the water right away, finding a marina is pretty easy to do. Also, remember that a car is just like a boat in terms of registration. You’ll definitely want to remember to register your watercraft in the state of Florida. Active military persons can wait to register their watercraft until after their current registration expires. And if your boat is not motored powered and less than 16 feet then you are not required to register at all.
