Hanging Out in Milwaukee

Milwaukee is a wonderful Midwest city where you can find a bit of old and new, while pleasing the palette of many. Blending old American style with the buzz of a modern lifestyle, Milwaukee offers more than motorcycles and great German food. Say farewell to your Milwaukee Movers and go enjoy your new hometown!

Miller Park

With a capacity of just over 42,000 and home to the Milwaukee Brewers, Miller Park is more than a bowl of bleachers. Take a guided tour and admire the retractable roof, one of the many fascinations of the park. It is North America’s only fan-shaped convertible roof, with seven panels and weighs 1200 tons. The amazing roof both opens and closes in less than ten minutes, allowing for an extra 30 degrees of comfort from the outside elements.

Historic Third Ward

Just south of downtown you will find Milwaukee’s arts and fashion center. There are many restaurants, boutiques, theaters, galleries, and spas from which to choose. Home to the Third Ward Riverwalk and Milwaukee Public Market, the Historic Third Ward (HTW) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Milwaukee’s oldest center of commerce and warehousing.

Milwaukee Art Museum

With over 30,000 works of art, the Milwaukee Art Museum has evolved into an icon for the city and a valuable resource for the entire state. In addition to the collection galleries, you will find various changing exhibits year-round. The museum is sure to be a new experience each and every time you visit.

Discovery World

This museum provides interactive learning exhibits and experiences about science, technology, and the world of water. Outside you may want to take a day or night ride on the S/V Denis Sullivan, a 137-foot replica of a 19th century Great Lakes schooner. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes and a picnic as the museum is located along the shores of Lake Michigan, which is sure to please the family.
