Father’s Day Fun in San Francisco

Beltmann Relocation Group

Sure, Father’s Day may be one of those holidays invented by card companies to make lots of money. But dads do a lot, and they’re worth celebrating, right? If you get an early enough start, you could manage to make some really memorable times with your dad this year. For those needing some creative ideas to show their pops a good time this Father’s Day, try a few of these ideas in the Bay Area.

Hornblower Father’s Day Cruise

How many places can you go on Father’s Day that have something called a “Beer Brunch”?!? Catch the early (11am) cruise from Pier 3 and let your dad enjoy some sunny libations. Or enjoy a wonderful four-course seated dinner during the dinner cruise (7pm). Both cruises feature live entertainment and a beautiful trip around the bay. Make some memories with dad on one of these two amazing cruises.

San Francisco Jazz Festival

Got a dad who digs music? Take him to the 32nd Annual San Francisco Jazz Festival. Granted, it’s not actually on Father’s Day – this year’s Jazz Fest is on Wednesday, June 11th. But tickets to this event are likely to bring a bigger smile to your fathers’ face than the usual “World’s Greatest Dad” mug. (How many “World’s Greatest Dads” can there be, anyway?) If you really want to show him how great he is, take him to this festival to catch some acts like Madeski, Scofield, Martin, and Wood and Juan de Marcos and the Afro-Cuban All-Stars.
