Beltmann Relocation Group

Now that summer is here, you’ll want to hit the beaches in your new town of Fort Lauderdale. This is by far one of the best perks to living in Florida, spending your summer weekends basking in the warm breezes with the wave crashing on the beach. If you aren’t sure what beaches to check out, first take a look at this list of top beaches in Fort Lauderdale. With 23 miles of beachfront land, you’re sure to find a beach that is your ideal spot.

Fort Lauderdale Beach

Right next to the downtown area of Fort Lauderdale, this beach is a destination spot for the beach-goer who wants to do something more than lay on a beach all day. With the beaches right off the main drag you can hop in a cafe for some lunch or even do a little shopping if you want to cool off. On the beach you can choose from any water activity your heart desires like boating, para sailing, and snorkeling. Don’t forget to enjoy the best part of this beach though: the beautiful views the Atlantic Ocean.

Hollywood Beach

This beach is broken up into three distinct areas accommodating all ages and interests. You have the 3-mile boardwalk that you can take a stroll on and enjoy the views. Or you can land on the North Beach, which is ideal for those with families as it has playgrounds, picnic areas, and plenty of space to stretch out. Central Beach is more for the people watcher as there are restaurants and boutiques near by. And lastly South Beach is more a residential area with some bed and breakfasts and more locals enjoying the beach.
