Proud to Be Veteran-Owned

UnknownAs we reflect in the wake of Veteran’s Day last week, we’re reminded of the rich heritage at Beltmann Relocation Group. Not only are we a veteran-owned business, but we also have the pleasure of working to relocate many veteran and active-military families.

We’re also excited that North American Van Lines was recently named the official mover for the Gary Sinise Foundation. The non-profit organization, founded by actor Gary Sinise, seeks to “serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. We do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.”

Like “Lieutenant Dan” who he portrayed in Forrest Gump, Sinise has a passion for empowering severely wounded veterans. With the Foundation’s “R.I.S.E.” program, the organization supports wounded heros by making home modifications, adapting vehicles, and providing much-needed wheelchairs. They also build custom “Smart Homes” adapted to individual veterans’ needs.

And did you know Lt. Dan has a band? That’s right. You can catch “Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band,” a twelve-piece cover band who entertains our troops at home and abroad, and spreads awareness and honor for our vets.

Help us to honor our military heroes and veterans, and check out the Gary Sinise Foundation. And beyond that, next time you meet someone who has served our country with courage and faithfulness, shake their hand and tell them thank you.
