As summer comes to a close, perhaps you’re thinking about the fabulous sights of Atlanta you have yet to visit. Fall is the perfect time to plan a long weekend or staycation and enjoy all that Atlanta has to offer. Here are some ideas for a fun time:
This family vacation destination offers a variety of activities. Here you can explore 3,200 acres of natural beauty, interactive attractions, plus natural and historic sites. The park is open year-round and offers many festivals and special celebrations throughout the year. Be sure to experience popular favorites including the nation’s largest adventure course, a cable car ride to the top of the mountain, a scenic train ride around the mountain, the laser light show and a fireworks finale.
The centerpiece of the park is the Fountain of Rings, the world’s largest interactive fountain. Appealing to old and young alike, fountain shows occur four times a day, 365 days a year. Be sure to check the calendar of events for upcoming concerts and family fun in the park. If you’re hungry, the Googie Burger offers walk-up service of the iconic food classic, the hamburger. The park is easily accessible by public transportation and is within walking distance of other attractions such as the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome, CNN Center, and several hotels and restaurants.
Across the street from Centennial Park you will enter the World of Coca-Cola at Pemberton Place. Here you can explore the story of our world’s best-known beverage brand. This museum offers interactive exhibits including a 4-D movie, bottling line, over 1200 artifacts, and the tasting experience where you have an opportunity to sample over 100 flavors from the international brand. It is estimated that then entire World of Coca-Cola experience takes approximately 2 hours.
Did you know Atlanta is home to the world’s largest aquarium? Here you will find over 10 million gallons of water and more animals featured than any other aquarium. Not only does the aquarium offer a variety of exhibits and attractions, there are lecture series, party and sleepover events, special animal encounters, and swimming with select animals.
For over 65 years, Beltmann Relocation Group has been working hard to meet the needs of individuals, families, and businesses during what can be a difficult and stressful process. Our highly trained Atlanta moving crews know how to turn your move into a simple process.
