Beltmann Relocation Group

They don’t call it “HOT-lanta” for nothing. Things can get pretty toasty during the summer months in Atlanta. But you don’t have fry in the southern heat. If you’re moving during the summer months, let your Atlanta movers take the heavy-duty jobs and relax at one of these awesome Atlanta water parks.

Lanier World

Looking for the best of both worlds on your water park adventure? Want a good mix of man-made bliss with the eu naturale? Check out Lanier World, just 45 minutes northeast of Atlanta. This beautiful resort has got both your typical water park fun and natural lakes to enjoy. Enjoy a crazy-long waterslide, relax in the cozy pool, or just sit next to the lake and soak up some sun.

Six Flags White Water Atlanta

Located in Marietta just north of Atlanta, this water park boasts a ridiculous amount of rides. With wild names like “The Tornado” and “Dragon’s Tail,” how could they not be awesome? The park also offers plenty of dining options to keep you filled up all day long. Check out the 50’s style diner Johnny Rockets, grab a smoothie, or take a load off with a hearty slice of pizza.

Gwinnett County Aquatic Centers

If you’re looking for a little cheaper aquatic fun, take a short trip to Gwinnett County. Their parks include the popular Bogan Park and Bethesda Park Aquatic Centers. And don’t worry about safety: their ace lifeguard team won the 2013 Georgia Recreation and Park Association’s State Lifeguard Competition Team Championship.
