Milwaukee Park at Shore<\/p><\/div>\n

Known as \u201cthe hidden jewel of the Upper Midwest\u201d, Milwaukee might just be the best place for your family. This city of 1.7 million has 15,000 acres of parkland to enjoy – not to mention the shore of Lake Michigan. Cedarburg<\/strong>
\nThis neighborhood is 20 miles north of the city in a rural area, and a just few miles away from Lake Michigan. It is accessible by I-94 and near to the Town of Cedarburg and the Town of Grafton. You will find the old gristmill as the center of the community, which now is the Cedar Creek Brewing Company. There is a lot to do and see in Cedarburg, including the shopping and restaurants at the old wool mill, nearby antique shops and ice cream parlors. There are two historic districts, Washington Avenue and Columbia Road. There are many summer festivals to attend, and a covered bridge to see, the last in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Whitefish Bay<\/strong>
\nThis community became the Village of Whitefish Bay in 1982. This neighborhood is by Lake Michigan and hosts Big Foot Beach State Park, a 272 acre green space. The schools in this area are considered to be excellent. There is lots of diversity in Whitefish Bay including the types of housing available. You will find Milwaukee Technical College, Marquette University, and Cardinal Stritch University here. This location is near to museums including the Betty Brinn Children\u2019s Museum, and has the Whitefish Bay Golf Club.<\/p>\n

Bay View<\/strong>
\nOn the southeast shore of Milwaukee, Bay View faces Lake Michigan. Bay View is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, offering a lot historical housing in the area. Inside the neighborhood is South Shore Park, a place for recreation and fun. The Beulah Brinton Community Center gives residents a place to come together throughout the year. The annual South Shore Water Frolics is a three-day festival that is fun for the whole family.<\/p>\n
