Valentine’s Day Celebrations for Your Family to Enjoy in Minneapolis
January 28, 2014
Valentine’s Day is a day to show the people you love that you care. But it’s not just for adults. Remember passing out Valentine’s cards when you were a kid? You’re never too old to rekindle that old Valentine’s magic that the greeting card companies created!
While you might have made a new transition with moving to the Minneapolis area, show your family you love them on this special day by taking them to one of these family-friendly events.
This little festival in the city of Minnetonka is a nice respite from the cold winter blues. There will be live music, a magic show, face painting, and more for your children to enjoy. If you dare, there’s even free ice-skating and skate rental, so you can show your children how to fall gracefully on the ice! Canned good donations will be collected to help families in the Minneapolis area. All of the events are free of charge, so there’s no excuse not to check out this fun event for the entire family.
Nothing says Valentine’s Day more than heart-shaped cutouts with red and pink construction paper! KidCreate is hosting a Valentine’s Day story and gift making time for ages 18 month to 6 years old. You can let your children’s imaginations create the most splendid Valentine’s gift ever, in addition to the wonderful memories you’ll make while participating in this event.
