OK, don’t panic…but you only have 14 days until you move. If there was ever a time to get organized, this is it. If you’re running behind, download these checklists, print them and cross off the most mission-critical ones before moving onto this weeks list. And, good luck!
Here are some things you should be thinking about if you’re plans include moving this month.
- Call your mover and ensure they have directions
- Start packing your home (if packing yourself)
- Separate bills, important documents and medicine
- Keep a list of items in each box (number each and color code for each room)
- Schedule a cleaning service for your new home
- Start packing your “important things” tote that you will take with you
- Know what your moving company will not move
- Ask your moving company if they participate in Move for Hunger and prepare to donate the non-perishable items you do not want to move
