RFP/Proposal Writer

Responsible for responding to major Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) for corporate customers in
the Household, Commercial and Logistics Divisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
- Respond to major RFP’s for corporate Household Goods, Commercial and Logistic Customers.
- Build a searchable database of RFP response components.
- Assist with development of Power Point presentation for major customer opportunities.
- Assist with development of collateral material and standardization of branch proposals.
- Good team player by providing support to other team members on RFP responses, including
writing and editing RFP responses for accuracy. - Assimilate complex information and present the information in a creative, smart, clear and
concise format. - Proposals must be completed and ready for presentation within the deadlines assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree from four-year college or university and three to five years
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Superior written communication skills are required and must be proficient in the use of standard
software packages, including Microsoft Office products. Advanced knowledge and use of Power
Point, Publisher and other similar applications are required.
